BPW Greater Sudbury Recognizes Bobbi Deisinger For Her Commitment To Support Women and Advocating for Downtown Businesses to Grow And Thrive.

Bobbi Deisinger unexpectedly became a downtown business owner over seven years ago when she decided to purchase All About Massage Day Spa located on Durham Street downtown Sudbury. Bobbi took on a challenging transitional role going from a stay-at-home mother for 17 years to a business owner. She faced challenges in learning how to support staff and in the day-to-day operations of a business, however she worked hard at researching how to become successful and learned what to expect in the business world and mostly how to navigate successfully. She currently has 14 staff members and continues to grow her clientele with networking and supporting community initiatives such as giving generously to charitable organizations that support women in the city.

Bobbi has chosen to participate in roles that enable her to contribute in supporting the growth and prosperity of downtown Sudbury. She has taken on a much more active role in participating in conversations that aim to foster a change in our community. She is working at being a liaison between many of the local downtown business owners and the city in order to bring awareness to some of the issues downtown business owners face. Bobbi is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, and has recently taken the role as a member of the Municipal Issues Committee where she can spearhead some of the local issues first handedly while working in collaboration with our community members and partners. She has also recently joined the BIA (Downtown Sudbury Business Improvement Area) as a Board Director. Bobbi is passionate about helping our community grow and thrive while she continues to grow her business.

Bobbi is also an active supporter of the arts in our community, and a member of the Sudbury Theatre Centre Special Events Committee. She strongly believes that art enriches our community and allows people to express themselves in ways that can help other people to reach their full potential and even can help people overcome adversities.

“There are many challenges business women face when they choose to become a spokeswomen for what matters to them, and Bobbi’s voice to invest in our community’s growth and her support of many charitable organizations is commendable and honourable” – Marianne Matichuk, BPW Greater Sudbury President.
